Based on a design by own of my favorite artists, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, this rose design is one of my favorites. You can’t tell from the picture, but this is the top square of a framed mirror. The dark wood of the frame goes really well with the darker reds and pinks that I chose to used instead of the pale roses and pinks called for in the original pattern. Worked over one with Waterlilies silk floss by Caron, it’s a tiny perfect gem.
